To order a portrait, send one clear photograph of your pet or person, a 20% deposit, your name, address, phone number and e-mail address, and what type and size portrait you want. Count on about two to four weeks completion time for a charcoal or pastel drawing, or four to six weeks for an oil painting (NOTE: at holiday times the completion time may be longer). When the work is finished, I will send by e-mail a photo of the drawing or painting for your approval. Upon receipt of the balance I will send your portrait by guaranteed mail or by courier.

About photos: One good clear photo is usually enough, but sometimes not (for example, the daschund painting was done with one photo for the head and another for the body). If you have additional photos that you think will help me to understand your pet's character and expression, by all means send them - just make sure to indicate what you like in each photo, which one is closest in color, and which photo is the preferred model. If black and white photos are sent for a color portrait, note the colors of eyes, hair etc., or send other photos for reference.If there is more than one pet, or a pet and a person, you may send separate photos and I will make a composition to suit.

All photos will be returned with the finished artwork, but if you are worried, send a copy instead of the original.
