click here for dogs on tv The artist, Sherri Sanders, was born 1954 in Washington, D.C. She lived in Greece for 18 years, until 2002, when she moved to Clearwater, FL. She has a B.A. in Studio Art from the University of Maryland, has done graduate studies in painting at Rochester Institute of Technology, and has an M.A. and an Advanced Diploma in Conservation of Cultural Properties from New York University. She has exhibited in various group and one-man shows in the U.S., Cyprus and Greece. She teaches Drawing and Art Appreciation at St.Petersburg College and Hillsborough Community College. For the past 18 years she has specialized in portraiture. In addition to portraits, she does other types of painting, draws cartoons and other illustrations for magazines and newspapers, and designs web pages (including this one). She is also a good girl.
